Formaldehyde Emission

The Structure of PET Plywood
PET plywood is made by bonding layers of wood veneer together with a special PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) resin. This resin forms a strong, protective barrier around the wood fibers. Unlike some other types of plywood, the PET resin helps to seal the wood, preventing moisture from seeping in. And since mold and mildew need moisture to grow, this is a big plus.
