The two are mixed and extruded at high temperatures to give the board a stable physical structure.

 

Polymer resin is the binder of bamboo fiberboard, accounting for approximately 15%-25%. Commonly used resins include polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polypropylene (PP), which melt at high temperatures and combine with the bamboo and wood powder to form a strong board matrix. The choice of resin directly impacts the board's weather resistance and processing performance. High-quality resin ensures that the board resists deformation in humid or high-temperature environments.

In addition, bamboo fiberboard often contains calcium carbonate as a filler, accounting for approximately 10%-15%. Calcium carbonate enhances the board's hardness and surface smoothness while reducing production costs. Some high-end products also incorporate small amounts of flame retardants or antimicrobial agents to meet safety requirements in specific scenarios.

 

From an environmental perspective, bamboo fiberboard is made from over 80% renewable raw materials, and its production process eliminates the use of harmful adhesives such as formaldehyde, meeting international environmental standards. This material is not only lightweight and easy to install, but also offers moisture-resistant, soundproof, and heat-insulating properties, making it highly sought after in the building and decoration industry.
